Over the weekend

Friday night it poured here in Yokohama--thunder and lightning too! We ate at the Hawaiian burger place and did a little window shopping in the building below us. There is one store with lots of hats, so we spent awhile trying on different hats. Chris bought one he liked that looks really good on him.

Sunday we hung out with Honda--walked around, spent some time at the book store, bought a few books, and headed for a coffee shop to read. Ahhh! That's what I forgot to mention... we have a book store with English books we can buy now! It's a Japanese book store with a small but decent sized English section of books and magazines. What's great about it too is that they have a smaller collection than you would normally find in the U.S., but it's a concentration of really good books by great authors. I'm already guilty of buying 6 books :o on my two trips there. I'm in the middle of reading "1984" by George Orwell. I have another on Green Living, an Aristotle book, one on Parallel Worlds, and a couple of others. Chris bought a Tom Clancy book.

It's getting warmer here! It's almost not necessary to wear a jacket out anymore--a light jacket will do.
